Anthony Joshua prepares to battle the American YouTuber in an eight-round contest which will be broadcast live on the streaming platform.
British boxer Joshua declared he will "dominate completely" the American and "overpower" his opponent as the two fighters met personally to promote next month's boxing match.
Ex twice unified title holder Joshua faces social media star turned fighter Paul - in what is, on paper, a massive uneven pairing - at Miami arena on December 19th.
Boxer's Attitude
"I plan to injure his face and break his body up. My goal is to show I'm superior," Joshua, 35, said.
"I will dominate him completely. That's the boxer's mindset.
"I will genuinely try to injure him. That's my intention."
Civil Interaction
Despite these statements, a calm Joshua and social media star Paul - usually recognized for his theatrics - shared friendly words and maintained decorum with each other.
Paul instead attacked ex Joshua's opponent the Cameroonian fighter and called him "not serious" after Ngannou turned down a fight offer.
Taking Aim at Tyson Fury
Anthony Joshua, meanwhile, criticized British rival Fury - and declined a million-pound wager 'Tyson Fury' says he will place on a Paul victory.
"Jake Paul is superior to Fury - he's present here," Joshua commented.
"I respect him for that."
Serious Fighter
In spite of declaring he will punish Paul, Anthony Joshua refused to comment unfavorably about his opponent's boxing ability.
"Jake is a credible opponent," he said.
Jake Paul's Background
Paul - who first rose to fame on the Disney Channel - has mainly boxed MMA fighters or faded names since becoming pro.
He lost to British fighter Fury in last year.
Commercial Success
Still, the novice continues to be one of the sport's greatest money-making draws, regularly earning massive earnings.
Prediction and Confidence
The 28 year old anticipated a stoppage in round four or five and claimed he would prevent the long-awaited match between Joshua and Fury, which is apparently under discussion for 2026.
"It's going to be my match with Fury next year," Jake Paul declared.
Physical Disparity
As the two fighters met for the traditional confrontation, with their physical disparity on show, it highlighted just how unlikely this complete situation is - and how remarkable it is that the match is really proceeding.
